Welcome to Kirmiray Studios.

I’ve called Melbourne home for 20+ years, but my story began in Nepal. After years in a fast-paced corporate career, motherhood in 2020 shifted everything. In the quiet, bittersweet hours of birthing during lockdown, I promised to show up stronger & the best version my daughter deserves.

As time passed, her toy and book library filled with English effortlessly, but I longed for playful ways to introduce Nepali. So when I searched, I found almost nothing - no joyful, research-backed tools that supported early development while being interactive for children and meaningful for grown-ups. That realisation became the spark for Kirmiray Studios.

Our mission is simple: to make bilingual (Nepali/English/Roman Nepali) learning natural, joyful, and functional. To add fresh ways for children to enjoy Nepali stories, songs, puzzles, and playful activities alongside their other every day learnings.

No forceful 'back in our days' lessons, that invite their eye-rolls. Just playful tools that spark curiosity and invite grown-ups to join in, building stronger bonds through shared moments of learning and connection.
